School Site Council

The School Site Council (SSC) is a collaborative group of parents, students, staff, and administrators who work together to support student achievement and school improvement. In West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD), the School Site Council helps review and guide the development of the school’s Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), ensuring that programs, resources, and strategies align with the needs of students.

At Sylvester Greenwood Academy, the School Site Council meets regularly to discuss school goals, review progress, and provide input on how resources are used to support student success. These meetings help ensure that families, staff, and students have a voice in important decisions that impact the school community.
