The Greenwood Academy Basketball team coached by Principal Phil Johnson & CSO Dentist Davenport won their league championship Saturday night with a 57-51 victory over Summit K-2 from El Cerrito. The league has six schools including Leadership Prep, Summit (Hilltop), Summit K-2, Olympic, La Paloma, and Greenwood Academy. The schools played each other during the league which culminated in a single elimination winner take all Championship tournament. Greenwood beat Summit Hilltop on Friday night to play in the finals.
